Privacy Policy

Overview
OFC (Offline File Converter) is a desktop application designed to convert and process files entirely on your computer. This policy explains what that means for your privacy.
Files you convert
Conversion and related tools (compress, resize, PDF split/merge, and similar) run locally on your device. OFC does not upload your files to OFC servers as part of conversion. Your media stays under your control on the machine where you installed the app.
Local app data
OFC may store preferences, recent files lists, conversion history, and similar settings on your device so the app can work as expected (including tray, watch folder, and history features). This data remains local unless you choose to move or share it yourself.
This marketing website
The OFC marketing site is a static informational website. It does not require an account to browse, and it does not use a shared database. Hosting providers may collect standard technical logs such as IP address, user agent, and pages visited. This site also loads Google Analytics to measure aggregate visits. No conversion files are processed by this website.
Third-party downloads
When desktop builds are published, downloads may be hosted via a public release channel. Those platforms have their own privacy policies for download traffic.
Children
OFC is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the desktop app's offline conversion workflow.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of OFC after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
Contact
Questions about this policy can be raised through the project's public support channels when they are published alongside desktop releases.
